Add a new game - duplicate, team or an individual bridge game.  Book players into the game using Bridge Among Friends's simple booking system.  Anyone in the group can make bookings and you can book in guests.

The convener of the game selects a scoring method IMPs, Match Points, Butler Datum, team Victory Points.  For individual 1 table bridge games select Chicago Russian or Total Points.  Select a movement from a choice of movements.  The selection of movements depends on the type of event and number of tables, ie, the number of pairs booked into the game.  For example, a 4 table duplicate game with 8 pairs on the bookings screen gives you a choice including a perfect Howell, a 3/4 Howell and a Square Mitchell movement.  The movements for a game with 5 tables includes a mitchell movement, a hesitation mitchell and 3/4 Howell movements. Select the movement based on how many rounds and/or boards you want to play. The number of boards per set determines the number of boards required, eg, enter 3 boards per set for an 8 round movement to play 24 boards.  Each movement comes with a layout diagram and notes including details such as shared boards etc.

Bridge Among Friends does not need and does not use pair numbers.  The program takes care of what table each player sits at for each round, who plays against who and the boards to be played.  Once the scores have been entered for the round each player gets instructions on which table to proceed to for the next round and where the boards go. Bridge Among Friends indicates when the cards need to be shuffled/dealt. At the completion of the game, IMPs or match points or victory points etc are calculated, the results are displayed and the convener can announce results then publish them so that all players can view the results and boards.  Hand records are available and you don't need to print them - this is an environmentally friendly game!

The convener can monitor the game as it progresses, correct contracts, reset or average scores.
