Bridge Movements for Team Events
The following movements are available for Team Events bridge depending on how many tables/teams you have and what type of game you wish to play. Click on a movement to get an idea of the layout required for the movement and a general description.
2 Tables Round Robin 4 Rounds 24/28/32 Boards
Round Robin team movement for 2 teams with 4 rounds.
Both partnerships in each team play against both partnerships in the opposing team.
Play 6 - 8 boards per set, eg, 8 boards per set for 32 boards cover all dealer vulnerability combinations.
Share boards for each round.
3 Tables American Whist - 4 Rounds 20/24/28 Boards
American Whist for 3 teams with 4 rounds.
Two sessions 2 rounds each session. Play 6 boards per set to play 24 boards with 36 boards required.
East/West players start by moving down a table.
Boards move up a table.
3 Tables Round Robin 2 Rounds 20/22/24 Boards
Two Rounds of interleaved matches for 3 teams.
Each North/South partnership play against East/West partnerships in the opposing teams.
Play 10 - 12 boards per set, eg, 10 boards per set, 30 boards required, each team plays 20 boards in 2 rounds against the two opposing teams.
